This easy– and we mean easy– recipe makes for a delicious and nutritious snack loaded with good fat, protein, and fiber. It’s also the perfect starter recipe for getting our kids involved in the kitchen!

Instructions
Depending on your desired consistency, use the liquid from the can or jar for a thinner texture or drain some or all of the liquid for a thicker texture.
Place the chickpeas (with or without its liquid) in a food processor and add in the the olive oil, lemon juice, tahini, garlic, salt, and cumin.
Pulse the mixture until it is fairly smooth. If it's too dry– add a couple tablespoons of extra olive oil or liquid from the canned chickpeas.
Taste and adjust salt, cumin, lemon, or garlic to your liking.
