Golden Milk and Teas for Kids: A Soothing Drink for Healing During Cough & Cold Season

When our kids get sick, whether they have a fever, more sweat, diarrhea, or vomiting, they are losing fluid, so it’s important we focus on hydration! Small, frequent sips can do the trick! When our kids are ready to drink, we love giving golden milk and tea with honey (for kids over 1 year old).

Why Golden Milk?

Golden milk is made with honey and turmeric which packs a one-two punch. Here’s why these ingredients are so beneficial:

1. Honey: Honey is a natural antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory, clinically proven to alleviate coughs and colds by coating the throat and reducing inflammation. It’s also packed with antioxidants, which help boost the immune system.

2. Turmeric: Turmeric is known for its powerful anti-inflammatory properties. It contains curcumin, which helps reduce inflammation and can provide relief from symptoms associated with colds and infections.
