Easiest Oat Bites

Recipe by: @cheflaurarodriguez
Prep Time:5 minutes
Cook Time:10 minutes
Yield: 15

Ingredients

  • 2 cups rolled oats (gluten-free work great)
  • 1/2 cup ground flax meal
  • 1 cup peanut butter (or any nut butter of your choice or sunflower butter for nut-free option)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Optional:

  • 1-2 tablespoons Brewer's yeast (for breastfeeding mamas, this may help increase breastmilk production)

Notes

Kid Tip:
Let your child dump the ingredients into the bowl, help stir, and roll them into balls.

  • Reminder, honey isn’t safe for kids under 1 y/o, so this recipe is for 1+.
  • We love these oats because they are glyphosate free.
  • Feel free to add Brewer’s Yeast to help promote breastmilk production and have these stocked in your fridge and freezer for easy and nutritious quick snacks.

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well to combine (mixture will be very thick and sticky).
  • Scoop and then roll between your palms, so they are uniform in size.
  • Place oat bites onto a sheet tray.
  • Refrigerate & eat within 7 days or freeze and enjoy within 3 months.
